Do you belong to any professional organizations?
My company will not pay for my dues, but they will pay for certifications.
However, from what I’ve seen I need to be a member before I can be certified. I’m wondering if paying hundreds of dollars in yearly dues is worth the line on my resume.
Thoughts?

I’m in the American Guild of Organists. But that’s mostly because I want to make sure I get paid the right amount from churches.

I am not, but I work for an association. Sometimes it can really help you advance and having a certification is always good.
