shanamaideleh asked: What do you LOVE about your house? How do you stay motivated to run? What are Bruno's favorite treats? (dumb question, all of 'em) Late 2012 IRL meeting? What is your internet routine, always open same sites in same order? When will there be more WIOW?
Awesome! Shana always pulls through.
I love the exterior of our house, cute black shutters on white siding. I love the built-in bar. I love/hate the crown molding. I love the natural light. I love our retro bathroom fixtures—now that we have a one faucet sink. I love our neighborhood and our neighbors. It’s nice to live in a place where I can text my neighbor across the street that I forgot to take the trash out before we left for the weekend and she’ll do it for me. She is the best. I love her. And her banana pudding.
I stay motivated by signing up for stupid races and following a bunch of more badass athletes than myself. There’s nothing more guilt-inducing than reading that someone else just logged 10 miles while I was eating chips on the couch. Sometimes the dog talks me into it, as soon as he sees me grab my headphones he sits by the door. Then I can’t say no. Plus, I hate the elliptical and if I don’t move my body a few times a week I become even more of a pain to live with. “You’re grumpt. Go to the gym” has been said to me more than a few times.
The Brun loves anything you’re willing to drop on the floor for him, but he particularly likes pieces of orange and “chewies.”
Late 2012? Sure thing. Make it happen.
Internet routine is typically gmail, google reader, facebook, tumblr. I keep them all open during the day and periodically close and reopen them as I see fit. Once in a while I remember I have a pinterest and I open that too. I also always have at least one draft email open. I type everything there then copy and paste it over.
WIOW. I don’t know. Sometimes I feel like I’ve run out of material, but then I’ll see some old lady on tv or at the store and say to myself, “THAT. THAT is how you do it! I want to be her when I’m old!” I need to start keeping a running list.
